                               We will be building portable low tunnels for use on warmer season crops during cold weather.

                               This workshop will include using compost, tilling, planting, setting up a drip irrigation system, and a tour 
                               of the fruit orchard (blackberries, raspberries, peaches, pecans)

                              This workshop will incude resourcing, constructing and erecting an 10' x 20' hoop house on site.
                              We will also cover mini hoop houses which can be constructed quickly and inexpensively    
                              for backyard use.

                               Farmer Carol Moss of Moss Gathers Farm, will show you how to make mozzarella and ricotta cheese from fresh,
                               local, whole milk. After this class, you can make your own cheese at home with the cheese making kit,
                               included with your paid class fee. The kit contains everything you will need except the milk, for which we will
                               have a list of local dairies that sell REAL milk.  (It is not available to purchase "away from the farm" that the
                               cows were milked on, but there are dairies in the area.)
